the blocker was never the encryption scheme. it was making threshold decryption and DKG fast enough to sit in the hot path of a real high-throughput chain.

Aptos just shared its new “Markets and Machines” vision and honestly I think it explains very clearly where the ecosystem is heading.
The idea is simple:
financial markets are moving onchain, and autonomous systems will increasingly interact, transact and operate onchain as well.
Aptos wants to build the infrastructure stack for both.
Definitely one of the most interesting directions the ecosystem has taken so far.
