Hussein Saleh lost 8 members of his family in an Israeli strike on their home, including his pregnant wife.
He found the head of his young daughter amid the rubble. “When I picked up her head, everything changed. Something in my heart broke and went silent.”
It is one of the most heartbreaking stories @NadaOHomsi and I have worked on during the war.
Nothing could justify such a horrific attack.

🚨 BREAKING: Al Jazeera Mubasher correspondent Mohammed Samir Washah has been killed in Gaza following an Israeli drone strike on his car at Al-Nabulsi roundabout, west of Gaza City. Footage shared from the scene by Drop Site contributor Mohammed Ahmed shows the vehicle engulfed in flames, indicating a direct hit.
Gaza’s Government Media Office condemned the killing, stating that the number of Palestinian journalists killed by Israel has risen to 262 since the start of the genocide in Gaza. The Office called on the international community to “condemn the crimes of the occupation, deter it, and pursue it in international courts for its ongoing crimes.”

Long article this, here’s the gist of it - Man named Mr Greed complains he can’t raise French cows in Devon anymore because the landowner wants his land back - for re wilding. Re wilding is threatening tenant farmers like never before and through them our food security - says the author, before going on to point out (if you run the numbers) that at risk tenant farmers are responsible for just 7% of farmland in Britain.
Here’s what it doesn’t tell you - farming uses 75% of Britain’s land, it’s the single biggest cause of our wildlife crisis (we took their homes) and most of our farmland is used to grow crops to feed animals in an incredibly inefficient food chain system. In fact we could feed 16m more people if we just grew crops to feed ourselves directly - using the same amount of land. And/or we could give 75% of our farmland back to nature - if we all stop eating animals. That’s the scope we have, to allow nature back in and still feed ourselves. Plenty. It’s not either or and re wilding is not the enemy of farming.

This is my city, Beit Hanoun.
It was once known as the “Green City” for its abundance of olive and orange trees. It produced and exported oranges and olives to the entire world.
Israel has bulldozed the city, leaving not a single tree behind. Trees as old as history itself, that had lived for hundreds of years, were spared nothing by this Zionist terror.

In Gaza, Raed Al-Maridi (37 years old) has been waiting for about nine months for permission to travel for medical treatment after he was shot in the head while heading to a U.S.-Israeli-backed aid distribution point in search of food for his children.
— He was trying to secure food and water for his children, but his injury resulted in total paralysis.
— His wife: Before his injury, he was our breadwinner; today, I fear losing him under these harsh conditions.

⭕️🇮🇷 Iranian musician Ali Ghamsari said he would sit at the Damavand power plant and play the tar in protest of U.S. threats to target infrastructure, adding he hopes his music can contribute to “peace and to prevent the lights from going out in homes.”
➤ President Donald Trump responded Monday by claiming Iranians were pleading for the bombing to continue, and suggested Iran could be destroyed “overnight,” pointing to Tuesday 8 PM as the time absent a deal.
➤ Ghamsari has previously clashed with Iranian authorities, including being barred from performing after refusing to remove a female singer from a concert.

In a bold stand against #US threats targeting Iranian infrastructure, composer Ali Ghamsari announced a sit-in at the Damavand Power Plant east of #Tehran. In a video message, he said he would act out of a sense of social responsibility, using music to defend #Iran’s critical facilities. Ghamsari also called on artists worldwide to join his campaign to "keep the lights on in Iranian homes," turning artistic expression into a form of resistance against attempts to decimate Iran's energy network. #IranWar #WarOnIran

I have not seen a single mainstream media outlet give this the attention it deserves.
Israel blew up an entire Lebanese town, an ancient place. It should be headline news. There’s footage of it happening.
Imagine this was your town, and you saw every building blown up by a terrorist army to prevent you from ever returning. You would at the very least expect wall to wall coverage. Instead it passes without a word.
It’s not the only town Israel has blown up. And sadly it probably won’t be the last.

BREAKING: Sitting Labour Councillors in Lewisham, Rudi Schmidt and Tauseef Anwar announce that they have defected to the Green Party.
Councillor Schmidt said the following to Novara Media:
" I really respect my Labour Party colleagues and listen, there's a lot of hard-working and caring councillors, but what's wrong with the Labour Party really is the national party and the grip it has across local councils. There's developed like a fear, a culture of fear, the fear of speaking out on injustice, as fear of speaking out against austerity, a fear of speaking out against the Labour Party's complicity in Gaza, and I think that almost all authoritarian way of operating has filtered down to local councils"
