Yes, we’re facing a global energy crisis. It’s impacting our homes beyond out of hand fuel prices. Even the cost of food is getting expensive. Fossil fuels make the cost of living go up. Thankfully, there’s a way out of this financial pressure. “The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas estimates that with data center electricity demand expected to double in the next five years, wholesale power prices could rise by as much as 50 percent.” It’s no secret that it takes a lot of energy to power AI. Where are data centers getting power from? Often from their own dirty power stations, fueling the climate crisis.
