The rest, you will already find your answer in my initial thread, as they clear all your misconceptions over the idea that he is not the fastest beyond travelling (my first paragraph explains this), that her willpower alone did not fully dampen the effect of it (my third paragraph explains this, but if you need further elaboration, diminishing that of a planetary attack down to a town is extremely more difficult than from a country to a city block), and why its DC and AP are both apparently lesser than Sukuna's Divine Hearth (my seventh paragraph explains this). You would just have to argue that Gege doesn't know what he's talking about, in which that's effectively just a cope, since there was literally a physics consultant for this. Why would he bother getting Kurare if he didn't plan to stick to it? Anyway, the SFX thing is overkill, but I'll do it anyway. The SFX you see here isド, which is effectively "do"; the sound of a thump, quake, etcetera. Multiple in succession define a sustained, continuous rolling force. It is not one single stacking explosion, it is an array of SEVERAL different INTENSE thuds, likely Dabura running back and forth given that he's probably across half the world each second. To give an example of it being used hyperbolically, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure uses it for suspense, which you'd find in Part 6. Firstly, this isn't "stupid". While I think it's something that one can very easily counterargue, I do not think the way people have been saying this take is "stupid" is valid. However, that does not mean it's true. Prior to landing the Black Flash, Yuji cracks his finger and then produces positive energy, using the exact same SFX (second image) for Satoru Gojo's positive energy production against Sukuna (third image). To prove this is not cursed energy, I also have shown the image of Satoru and Sukuna igniting their cursed energy in preparation to attack each other. While both are meant to portray a similar "vwoom", cursed energy's is more of a "gas stove turning on" sound whereas positive energy is more like a fire extinguisher. Consistent with this is Yuji's following Black Flash, meaning that what Yuji Itadori OBJECTIVELY performed, ignoring intonation, is: - Crack his finger - Utilise positive energy to manifest the vapour in conjunction with his cursed energy (showing that he, like Satoru, can now utilise both positive energy and cursed energy seamlessly) - Perform a Black Flash Given Satoru Gojo's statements about Black Flash (which will be a separate two images threaded to this one), he specifies that factors like air humidity (vapour present in the air) and temperature are relevant to what can make a Black Flash occur. Thus, given that Yuji pre-empts this Black Flash with confidence, the reading of "you won't die" as fear is inaccurate, given he constantly retains a monotone the entire time. Yuji's specific words in Japanese (which will be posted below, with Gojo's Black Flash comments) are "死にはしない", which does not entail a prediction, but a committed stance. 死に is in its conjunctive に form, making it emphatic. He is not saying "I hope you won't end up dying", he is saying "dying is not what you're going to do". It's a conclusion he makes coldly with emphasis on the fact it WON'T happen via the negative construction of ない, which moreso translates to "do not" than "will not". "You do not die from this" is more what he MEANS, even when he says "you won't die". So, to conclude, it is almost impossible to argue that Yuji Itadori cannot land a Black Flash "at will". While I do not believe it's something you can just activate, and that's what it means by "at will", Yuji is capable of optimising the chance for Black Flash to 100% via a unique preparation which leaves spatial setting perfect for it, leaving the only skill factor for timing, which Yuji otherwise perfected back in 2018. Imperatively, if he could not, you would have to argue that him cracking his finger and producing positive energy and cursed energy seamlessly was so he could flex on the simurian, which is counterintuitive to the archetype of character he is by this stage of Modulo.

the only way to have him capped there is “i don’t believe narrative statements mean anything without raw feats that i can scale”. that’s fine but that also means you can’t scale yuji up to 16f sukuna in any meaningful way because his opponents dont scale up to mahoraga or jogo

Personally i like to think that Modulo Yuji is relative/equal to Shibuya Sukuna. I think just like with Megumi, Sukuna in Shibuya represented Yuji at his hypothetical peak. Might be even a bit stronger too cuz of BM
