Warhorse Studios, developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, has confirmed that the next game in the Kingdom Come series will be a full open-world RPG. Warhorse PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling said the studio is currently working on two open-world RPGs, one in the Kingdom Come world and another set in Middle-earth. The new game is expected to release between April 2027 and March 2028, based on Embracer Group’s current schedule. Warhorse has not called the game “Kingdom Come: Deliverance III,” leading many fans to think it could be a new story with different characters instead of a direct sequel. “We have two open-world RPGs in development,” Reports also say that developer Prokop Jirsa will help lead the future of the Kingdom Come franchise, while Viktor Bocan is working on the studio’s new Lord of the Rings RPG.

@TheGingerPerks Ngl people that constantly talk about their kids actually annoy me. I mean cool that you're proud of them but its like they have no life outside of that.
Kudos to them though if that's the focal point of their lives its up to them. I'd rather focus on things I like.

I honestly have no idea how to talk to people that aren’t geeks.
Usually the talking point is their kids, so 90% of conversations are about their kids, because they will stare at me blankly if I bring up games, books, movies, etc.

@nuhre_ I disagree I think make the story and gameplay a focal point then work on romance if you want. I'd rather they spent more time making the game better via quests and lore than shoving in romance for the sake of it.

Why do people complain about RPGs having optional romance? There has never been a role-playing game made worse because it included romance options.
If anything, romance usually makes the entire experience better. And the best part is that it’s optional. If you don’t care about it, just don’t engage with it.

@mcdizzle17 Did it though? I'm all for added content if it actually makes the game more fun and engaging but in Cyberpunk it amounts to a kiss fade to black and talking about a handful of topics then they ring you every mission or so. Shit pissed me off tbh.

@Mudkipstoat23 I had the same thoughts. Its nice cause this game is easier to jump into. I feel you though I get distracted but this game has a lot of content and exploring the worlds feels really good.

@DigBicky97 I kinda want to get back into Jedi Survivor because I never finished that (ADHD, easily distracted by new games) but I can't remember how to do all the cool lightsabre moves so I might as well wait until I've forgotten the story as well so it's fresh. So need some Star Wars!

Playing Star Wars outlaws cause I got it cheap and man i'm having fun. Its probably cause they updated it and stuff but its wayyyy better than public consensus would have you believe.
Is it innovative? No not really but being a scrappy blaster shootin rogue is kinda fun.
