@RoseofFreedom The official language in Taiwan is Chinese. They use the traditional Chinese alphabet (as above) rather than the modern alphabet (as used in China). I believe the registry documents only accept names in traditional Chinese text.

@DrFrostMaths Why a Chinese name?

[Jamie] I legally require a Chinese name when I get married in Taiwan in July. So my name will officially be 傅傑明 (Fù Jiémíng). "Dr Fu Maths" has quite a ring to it!

@andrewkbailey13 @CasioMaths It gives concatenation highest precedence than multiplication/division, but adds the brackets itself to disambiguate. I think Casio made the right decision there.

@DrFrostMaths @CasioMaths Does it do the calculations correctly or still require excessive brackets?

Thank you @CasioMaths for the new version of the 991CW. Never so much joy to have the FORMAT key act like the old S-D key and to be able to find the choose function again! Even having numbers back in the main menu a welcome move back to my cherished 991EX. 🙏
