Olive trees for Palestinians and Mulberry trees for Armenians are both symbols of resistance. Like Olive trees, Mulberry trees can live for thousands of years. In Artsakh, the azerbaijanis systematically destroyed Mulberry trees just as the israelis did in Palestine.

I keep thinking about this. When my grandfather and his family escaped massacres in Mardin, they took their key with them to Palestine. When zionist militias forced him out of his home in Jerusalem, he took his key with him. He held on to both keys of his homes until he passed.
