Today, I had a candid discussion with a group of prominent Afghan leaders along with @US4AfghanPeace, @USAmbKabul, and @Commander_RS. Our discussions were focused on the peace efforts, including the next steps in the process, in order to end the bloodshed in Afghanistan.

Back in 1990 at Peshawar, Pres. @ashrafghani spoke on the murder of Syed Burhanudin Majrooj. Mr. Majrooh was dean of Kabul University’s Faculty of Literature but had to fled to Peshawar fro Soviet forces. At Peshawar, he became the director of the Afghan Information Centre.
