Police personnel earn a respectable salary every month, yet some still risk their careers over petty misconduct.
Take the recent case from Ghatampur, Kanpur. Constable Suresh Kumar, who was posted on PRV 112, allegedly had a habit of eating golgappas, kulfi, and other snacks from street vendors without paying. Whenever vendors demanded payment, he would reportedly abuse and intimidate them using his position.
The matter came to light when someone recorded a video of his behavior and uploaded it on social media. As the video went viral, it caught the attention of senior authorities.
A preliminary inquiry found the allegations to be true. Acting swiftly, the department suspended Constable Suresh Kumar, and a detailed departmental investigation is now underway.
It's astonishing to think that in an attempt to avoid paying just ₹20–30 for food, he ended up jeopardizing a government job that paid around ₹50,000 per month. Sometimes, the cost of a small act of dishonesty turns out to be far greater than anyone imagines.

In a country where countless politicians, celebrities, media anchors and businessmen have sold themselves, bowed down in front of fascist powers, in fear of getting arrested.
People like Abhijeet are a rare gem, truly brave and fearless.

Meet Abhishek Asthana aka @GabbbarSingh - IT Cell cheerleader & Modi Fanboy. Till recently was ascribing the happiness of every Indian to Modi - now suddenly the tragic demise of Vivek Agarwal and his whole family has jolted him.... NOT because this was another senseless / preventable tragedy - but because it happened to someone in his luxury class level.
However - even in his moment of sadness - he does not have the spine to question the people who are responsible / does not have the basic conscience to demand justice - his only advise to is to 'escape the decay' (because taking names is not good for business)
Don't be a rat like Abhishek - have the courage to question - ESPECIALLY if you have power and clout. Remember - you are not 'safe' just because you have the money - a rotten system will get get you & quitting is the last option.
