نتفلكس جد ابدعت هالسنة الثلاثة يجننو

Every month one kdrama is getting canceled by Koreans and the canceled kdrama of the month is Netflix’s new drama #TeachYouALesson. The teacher’s union are protesting because according to them, the drama promotes violence and corporal punishment against school bullying. In the drama, a FICTIONAL government agency steps in to stop bullying and violence. They have even held a press conference in front of Netflix’s headquarters asking for the drama to stop production. I find this especially funny because this drama is a webtoon adaptation and the webtoon was quite controversial. My question is - shouldn’t the protests have gone out when the casting news dropped instead of waiting for it to be fully produced and released across the world? (Correct me if I’m wrong) Also a court order could have really helped between the time production started and the release happened if there were very serious issues they didn’t want on screen. These protests are only going to give the drama bad publicity, which is still publicity btw and expose the actors to online harassment.
