True story today. My sister goes back to her male doctor armed with the correct questions re menopause. She is suffering and being given incorrect and sub standard treatment. Male Dr: what is the problem Sister: the debilitating fatigue, I can't even move some days Male Dr. Me too Sister then gives the other symptoms and asks for a referral to menopause clinic as no one is helping her at her GP. Male Dr: What do you think women in Sri Lanka do? They grin and bear it. They don't have the luxury of the expensive treatments that you are asking for. Male Dr: I will refer you, but it may be rejected. So my sister, suffering, was gaslighted in 3 ways; Her symptoms were diminished, she was told she should grin and bear it, she was told she may not get her referral. This is what women are up against. And this is a woman very well briefed in what to ask and expect. @drlouisenewson 🤷‍♀️

@DanielleNicki The way it's impossible to remove the paper/foil seal without first stabbing it with a knife or scissors, then I have to dig my finger in and pull the thing off. So much work to open a tube of whatever.

@ask_aubry 18-year old girls (intentionally not calling them women) get THE MOST swipes/messages on dating apps and that increasingly falls away each year after. So most men are being “good guys” by waiting until the very minute a girl becomes legal. Mostly all pedos to some degree

@AKempAuthor I told my verbally abusive brother that no one who speaks to/about me the way he does can have access to me and then I blocked across social media, never again responded to texts or calls (did not block so I could monitor for potentially serious threats). 7yrs later no regrets

For those confused, this situation started around a week ago, when an "unknown disease" affected dairy cattle in Texas, Kansas and New Mexico. Dairy owners reported that their cows were suffering from flu-like symptoms.

@Kosher_Weaver @ask_aubry Yep, it’s his money. And even if this was a story just about how he spends his own money it would still be ok for her to break up with him once she realized they have different values and priorities around money. She can leave for any reason she wants or no reason at all.

@ThePOTSPostman I suffered a serious concussion about a year ago. For the first several weeks I could literally do nothing but lie in bed/sit quietly listening to rain sounds on an app. Anything else caused intense overwhelm and so much tinnitus. My relationship to ‘doing’ changed radically
