This evening, gunshots were fired at Queen's Way as police stormed drainage channels, dismantled gang hideouts, and arrested over 100 individuals during a two-day operation by the Uganda Police Force, alongside its sister security agencies.
The operation, which began on Easter Monday, led to the arrest of suspects involved in the Clock Tower phone and bag snatching incidents. The suspects were found in possession of knives, pangas, and narcotic substances.
