Album Review for Cry Baby by Vince Staples Honestly, Vince Staples has always been an artist that has pushed the boundaries and experimented with his music. In addition to that he’s been very outspoken as a person and very socially conscious which you can see in not only his television show “The Vince Staples Show” but you also get that here. If you’re not a fan of Alternative-Rap/Rock then this project will be a very eye opening experience for you. A lot of the cadences and melodies are very upbeat, brash and in your face but that also goes along with a powerful message in every single track. The theme of the project tackling social issues such as police brutality, gun violence, gang life, corruption in the government and more. Vince not only is speaking from a first hand experience, but he’s also speaking for a community of people who are quite frankly exhausted. The instrumentals are so dope. You’ve got the heavy drums, the bass with a little electric guitar, and an overall polished rock sound that is cohesive and very well mixed through the entire project. The hooks are very catchy, and they also leave a lasting impression with each listen. Vince’s flow cannot be undervalued as well. He’s definitely one of the best rappers in the game currently and being able to rap over this type of style is just a testament to his artistic skill. Vince has always been one to step outside the box and every time he does it, the album is better than the last and this is no different. Definitely check this project out. Favorite Tracks: The White Flag, Big Bad Wolf, Cotton Final Score: 10/10

@Domnishky @OsheaJacksonJr For example, I’m a HUGE halo fan. I like the gameplay, but also the lore and story behind it. When ODST dropped, I loved it because of the world building and additional lore, which is what the developers wanted. I liked Halo even more because of it, just like they intended

@Domnishky @OsheaJacksonJr For people who have a passion for what they do in making games, they are making them for people who enjoy games for what they are, to have fun. I promise you, my buddies who are developers are not killing themselves to think about how they can sell the most copies

@Domnishky @OsheaJacksonJr “Concurrent players”, bruh….why does that matter to you in a game meant for your entertainment? Are you a developer whose job is on the line? Why are we as consumers so invested in profits of game companies? Do you look at a shoes stores stock price before you buy shoes?

@manninal_lecter @OsheaJacksonJr There is a point where profits don’t prove anything. But look at profits & how many concurrent players are playing. If players don’t play the game or buy it is the litmus test. This isn’t music. If no one plays and or buys your game. It’s not success. Games are meant to be played

If there are stories that are a part of it, it’s perfectly fine to give them the franchise name because they made it lol. Who am I to tell a game studio to rename their game

That’s ones of the issues with nowadays, everyone is so worried about the numbers a game or album sales instead of just enjoying things as a consumer.
