If you’re not failing, you’re not learning. If you’re not learning, you’re not growing. If you’re not growing, you’re not living. Living without failing is failing to live.

No one knows how much shit you’ve been through to simply make it where you are today. ㅤ Be proud.

The worst blame others because they want to feel better. ㅤ The best blame themselves because they want to be better.

We are all choosing what to give a fuck about, whether we realize it or not. ㅤ If you’re not asking yourself the important questions of what to care about, the forces around you will decide your values for you.

At some point, preparation becomes its own form of procrastination. ㅤ Just do the thing.

It will always take longer than you want it to… even when you account for the fact that it will always take longer than you want it to.

The people who wait until they're “ready” never are. ㅤ The people who just start realize they could have been “ready” any time they wanted.

Some of you don’t want to hear this. ㅤ But it’s impossible to heal a relationship as long as you are still pretending.

When we assess risk, we tend to totally miss the value of the lessons we’ll learn by acting. ㅤ So many people are afraid to pull the trigger because they think, “Oh, I’ll lose money!” or “Oh, people will laugh at me!” not realizing that the information they gain by trying is likely more valuable than the success itself.

A general rule of life: the more afraid you are to talk about something, the better you’ll probably feel after talking about it.

“Everything will be fine, let’s stay positive,” is bullshit. ㅤ What you really mean is, “Everything will be hard, but we’ll be able to handle it.”
