A jury, including 5 Black jurors, heard all the evidence and said Not Guilty after 8 hours. “Shot in the back over water bottles” is the cope narrative. The facts and the verdict say otherwise. Get your facts straight Legally, South Carolina’s Stand Your Ground law doesn’t require you to wait until the person fires first. if you reasonably fear imminent death or great bodily harm to yourself or your child, you can use deadly force.
