This guy posted a video of himself playing chess inside the Louvre Museum in Paris, wearing his agbada, and called it a proud moment saying he was the first Nigerian to do it. Immediately, people started dragging him hard: “Is that even an achievement?”, “He’s just playing by himself”, “How do you know you’re the first?”, “Clout chasing”, all that kind of talk. What you guys should understand is that personal wins are personal. What looks small or unnecessary to someone else can be a really big deal to the person who did it. For Tunde, walking into one of the world’s most famous museums and setting up a chessboard there might have felt like a meaningful milestone. He’s been pushing chess from the slums, teaching kids, holding a real Guinness World Record. So maybe in that moment he thought, “Let me add my own small chapter here.” If he searched online and didn’t see any other Nigerian claiming or posting about doing the same thing, why shouldn’t he say he’s the first (at least the first one he knows of)? And let’s be honest: we see white people and folks from other countries do this kind of thing all the time. Someone from abroad travels to Nigeria or any other country, does something simple like visiting a landmark, trying local food, or even just sitting somewhere with a unique vibe, and they post it as a big personal achievement or “bucket list” moment. Nobody drags them or says it’s not valid. So why is it suddenly a problem when a Nigerian travels somewhere and does something like opening a chessboard in a famous museum? It’s the same energy. We should celebrate small wins too. They can inspire others, especially young people. Life is already hard, let people enjoy and share their moments in peace.

When Heath Ledger passed away, his will didn't include his daughter, it had been written years before she was born. Legally, his entire estate went to his parents and sister... but they made an incredible decision They gave everything to Matilda, saying it's what Heath would've wanted And it didn't stop there... Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law stepped in to finish his final film and donated their salaries to his daughter. ♥️

PATRIOTIC SOJA ($TSIR-MUNCHAN)
I know a Captain currently in the North-East. Every Sunday at 12:00 PM, he walks to the one spot in the camp where the signal is strong enough for a quick video call to his wife in Lagos. He doesn't talk about the heat or the danger. He talks about his daughter’s grades and the Sunday meal he’s missing. He hides the fear so she can feel the strength. To all the families waiting for a Sunday call: you are the silent heroes of this war. We see your sacrifice.

Unrelated, but sometimes I wonder how J. Cole would feel when he realizes that there is a fan somewhere, me, who knows his songs and can rap them even better than he does. The only thing remaining to listen to from Cole is probably the songs he randomly sang in the bathroom during showers 😂. If I did an academic course on J. Cole, I should be graduating top of my class with all As.

National stadium and whatever, if APC doesn’t win the election.. yall will still get gigs, I mean madass gigs.. Yall could see that after the trial to stop them from doing the convention.. they stoop so low to “cutting off electricity”.. That’s to tell you that they don’t have any other power after money and command. If you don’t listen to them, they can’t do anything. NIGERIANS SHOULD WAKE UP AND TAKE BACK YOUR COUNTRY.
