Iran: Three weeks into the conflict, our colleagues in Tehran share how they and their loved ones are coping.  While our clinics in Kerman and Mashhad have largely remained open, activities at our South Tehran clinic were temporarily suspended due to the bombing. For many of our colleagues, one of the hardest parts has been not being able to continue caring for their patients. Our programmes in Iran focus on supporting vulnerable communities. Following recent authorisation to strengthen support to local health systems in the current context, we’re preparing to reopen our Tehran clinic as a more specialised facility for emergency care. Initial donations have already been delivered to the national emergency response, and we stand ready to scale up as needs evolve.  We stand in solidarity with our colleagues in Iran, whose commitment to patients remains unwavering.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a curable, preventable disease 🩺 Our teams in Kulob, Tajikistan, bring TB screening to remote areas through portable x-ray machines. By conducting screening, more people can be diagnosed, allowing them to overcome the disease through treatment and return to their daily lives.
