Hungry Hippo Has Arrived at the AIC 🦛🚀 Today started early — 4:00 AM early. We watched the Neutron Hungry Hippo fairing arrive at the inlet aboard the barge, then saw it lifted off the barge and placed onto the transport trailer. When it ended up sitting at the end of the causeway for hours, it honestly felt like they might leave it there and finish the move another day. But patience paid off. Right before sunset, the convoy finally rolled again, and Hungry Hippo made its way across the causeway and into the Rocket Lab AIC. After following this journey from overseas to Wallops, seeing it finally arrive home was incredibly satisfying. I’ve got more photos and video coming shortly — this was a big day. @NASASpaceflight
