2026年3月19日凌晨，19岁的伊朗国家队自由式摔跤队成员萨利赫被处以绞刑。他被控参与了大规模抗议。
当局还指控他与同伴用刀杀害了执法人员。但萨利赫否认指控，称供词是在酷刑下被迫作出。他的家人、队友和教练均证明他当时在叔叔家中，并不在现场。
法庭引用了伊斯兰教法中的“moharebeh”（“与神为敌”）罪名，这也是伊朗政权反复用于处死抗议者的罪名。
萨利赫被禁止使用自己的律师，法庭还使用了身份未公开的证人。整个审判速战速决，不予上诉。
伊朗政权专门挑有影响力的运动员下手，杀一儆百。萨利赫是伊朗国家自由式摔跤队成员，曾在国际比赛获得铜牌。
这个案件与2020年被处决的摔跤运动员阿夫卡里一样，他曾获伊朗青年锦标赛69公斤级亚军，有望实现奥运冠军梦。
伊朗人权组织警告，目前有数百名抗议者面临死刑，至少有65名运动员、教练和裁判在1月的镇压中被杀害。查了一下资料，伊朗被处决的运动员如下：
摔跤手蒙塔泽拉尔，蒙特利尔奥运会参赛选手，1977年大学生运动会参赛选手（枪决）
足球运动员哈比里，世界杯关键球员，1980年国家队队长（枪决）
1988年：排球运动员阿卜迪，女子国家队队长（绞刑）；足球运动员马赫希德，国家奥林匹克足球队成员（绞刑）
2012年：职业格斗手马吉德，被指控为摩萨德暗杀核科学家（绞刑）
2020年：摔跤运动员阿夫卡里，青年全国69公斤级第二名（绞刑）
2021年：拳击手穆塔里，拳击冠军兼教练（绞刑）
2023年：空手道选手卡拉米，青年空手道全国冠军，国家队第四名（绞刑）
2026年：摔跤手萨利赫，国家自由式摔跤队成员，2024年萨伊季耶夫国际杯铜牌（绞刑）
他们都死于抗议或政治反对。

I don’t think Americans understand what it means to Taiwanese. Taiwan is the only country which can’t be accepted as a member at the UN because of China. They are not allowed to use their national flag in international events, their diplomatic relationship with all the countries were arbitrarily terminated at the request of China. It is a small country with 25million people. But they have their name Taiwan across their chest, they are more emotional than other national athletes .
