A man in Florida is suing Jacksonville Beach police after they relied on an incorrect facial-recognition result to arrest him for a crime in a city he never visited. The ACLU says police concealed evidence that he couldn't have committed the crime, including facts about distance and license-plate-reader searches.
They're locking people up without a positive ID of their suspect? This is criminal and outrageous.

Breaking | Calls grow for international intervention to release volunteers detained in Libya
The Global Sumud Flotilla says that 10 humanitarian volunteers were detained by Libyan forces near Sirte on May 24 while attempting to negotiate safe passage for aid bound for Gaza, under previously agreed arrangements.
The humanitarian group has now been held for nearly three weeks without charge, with their detention reportedly extended for a second time.
The case has triggered growing international concern, with campaigners and supporters calling on governments to intervene urgently to secure the release of the detained activists, who are said to include citizens from Spain, Poland, the United States, Argentina, Uruguay, Portugal, Tunisia, and Italy.

Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500. If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.
