Hard working full time dad, concerned for the future world his 10 year old boy will inherit.

I do think, though, that subsidising huge businesses like Tesco or Amazon or whatever paying poverty wages by topping them up with benefits is a model we should be working to move away from. No one in work should need state support. Make the bosses pay.

NHS staff took 28m sick days incl 8m for mental health in 2025: Keen to hear from other businesses whose staff take: Average 19 days sickness pa Including: 5 days mental health issues pa newspaper.mailplus.co.uk/data/7614/read…

Our friends, the Brits, went from relinquishing their right to bear arms in 1997 to standing on the edge of the Islamist abyss today. Our Second Amendment is not about the right to go duck hunting, folks. It’s about keeping power in the hands of The People.

With Trumps mental health clearly on display today with his latest dangerous rant, the UK must make closer ties with the EU immediately. No dithering. Brexit is dead. Kier Starmer needs to instigate the UK’s return to the EU as a matter of urgency. Only sensible move to make.

Perhaps when Donald Trump completes his term of office in 2029, just in time for our general election, he will be able to help out here. He would certainly be more energetic than Sir Keir.

Many of us are at work today on a bank holiday, knowing full well that people on benefits have just got a bonus of £6000. I would have to work around 500 hours to get an extra 6k - they don’t have to do anything Why do we even bother

@dave43law The late, great, Janie Godley was 100% correct!
