St Therese did some FAB acting in English today. They created a freezeframe of the moment Oliver was kidnapped by Nancy and Bill and then we got to see what the characters were thinking with some thought-tracking. Can you tell who is who?

Today, St Francis had a first look at our new book, The Colour Monster (Anna Llenas). The children were excited to discover how different colours represent different feelings. We spent time exploring the emotions in the book and matched each colour to the feeling it represents…

We're proud to share that our Year 10 student Anne has won the KS3 Young Historian Project 2025, run by the Spirit of Normandy Trust! Her essay on Voluntary Interceptors was praised as “fascinating” and full of life. Congratulations, Anne! #StMarysMenston

Year 1 listened to the creation story and drew pictures to show what God created 🌎. They know that the creation story is from the book of Genesis - the first book in the Bible.

Year 1 are learning all about common nouns.

Year 5 had a lovely art lesson outside in the sunshine today. They did a great job drawing houses, focusing especially on details and proportions.

St Therese children wrote and made an advert for the Kingdom or God based on the parables of the pearl and the hidden treasure. I am convinced!
