1. Dari Keluarga Mas'ud Dinasti Penguasa Kaltim, Partainya Golkar, mirip keluarga Ratu Atut di Banten
- Kakaknya, Hasanuddin Mas'ud menjabat Ketua DPRD Kaltim
- Adiknya, Rahmat Mas'ud menjabat Wali Kota Balikpapan
- Adiknya lagi, Abdul Ghafur Mas'ud mantan Bupati Penajam Paser Utara, yg sebagiannya kini jadi IKN
