Swatting Call - Bur Oak Ave 7:44 a.m., - Officers called to a school in the area of Bur Oak Ave / Kennedy Rd, Markham for a reported swatting call - Phone call generated from Los Angeles - Officers attended, cleared the school and confirmed there is no ongoing threat to public safety - Officers are currently completing a secondary clearance - YRP will retain a police presence at the school while the preliminary investigation continues - YRP is working with the school board, which has enacted a lockdown - the school board has established evacuation protocol due to weather and students will be moved to Beckett Ave, Markham #GO26117131
