Capitalism rewards the skill socialists love second most: anticipating and supplying people’s demands. The skill they love most is using envy and self imposed victimhood to justify supplying themselves with other people’s earnings. That’s why they resent profit. Profit is proof that someone voluntarily exchanged value for value. But instead of asking how to create more of it, they demand more taxes, regulations, punishments, and obstacles against the very people producing what everyone depends on. Then they act shocked when shortages, stagnation, fewer opportunities, and higher prices follow.
