Unfortunately had to DQ myself from the tournament last night. I realized when inputting my stats on the way home that I signed a card stating I had a 3 on hole 14, when in fact I had a 4. I immediately called the Tour and reported the error, but as it was more than 15 minutes past my score being turned in, it resulted in a DQ. Although it would not have affected the results of the tournament, I’m disappointed in myself for not paying closer attention… And for letting my emotions get the best of me after a tough round. I will use this as fuel for my next event and hopefully turn this season around. Thank you to everyone for the kind messages ❤️

@TinCup2020 @KipHenley Yesh. Don't need US Open setup every week, but make accuracy matter say you have 30 yd wide fairways... have semi rough say 10' on either side then grow that shite. >10% dispersion=more dire consequences

@aam239 @KipHenley I agree with you. Look at what Oakmont produced. Rough that required a chop out with a wedge, usually resulting in a bogey or worse. While every week doesn't require that kind of rough, most courses could beef up their rough a bit.

Kip: Due respect, I understand. But let's look at this from another perspective. 1. Casual water. Free relief. (Sam Burns may disagree.) 2. TIO - free relief. Player hits it in the junk, but because a (man-made) tv tower stand in the way, he gets line of sight relief. 3. Cart path (man-made) - interferes with stance- free relief. 4. Sprinkler head (man-made) - interferes with stance or ball lands in it - free relief 5. Ant hills or burrowing animal hole - free relief Sometimes (many times) these free relief situations result in the player getting a much better lie than he started with. How can we say "play it as it lies" or "we're protecting the field" when in fact it's been stated numerous times on telecast that players need to know the rules because sometimes (many times) they can use them to their advantage. And don't get me started on determining where a ball last crossed on marked hazards. Talk about a crapshoot. Seems to me a divot is man- made. And the point is to hit the fairway. I find it counterintuitive that sometimes a one player can center cut the fairway and wind up with a worse lie than player "b" does when he misses the fairway by 20 yards or more.

@CollinRugg I think the celebration was a bit silly but she just kicked a@# in her sport and got the payoff from massive hard work and dedication. To me, appropriate reaction is she gets the medal, the podium, the celebration. After, a quiet word maybe. Or, let it tf go

@acaseofthegolf1 Years back, we spent a Fall weekend at Crystal Mountain. Cool fall golf, hot tubs, good times Hot Damn and Peppermint Schapps kept the chill away.

Today is Toughman scramble. Pins tucked in ridiculous spots. Tees played all the way back and you play no matter the weather. Playing with Erik, Benny, and another solid player, so we should have a good chance. 36 teams. Should be a balmy 42 degrees. Can’t wait.
