(Both Margin Accounts) Ticker: PLTR Expiration: Nov 21 Strike: $175 Premium: $4.10 Robinhood: Required Cash (Collateral): $17,090 TastyTrade: Required Cash (Collateral): $7,882.50 On either platform I earn $410 in premium, but with TastyTrade I use less than half of the cash needed vs. Robinhood. Robinhood: 2.40% Return on Capital TastyTrade: 5.20% Return on Capital I'm sold! This example is using TastyTrade with a standard margin account, NOT a portfolio margin (PM) account. With a PM account, the required capital would be $5,500 and the ROC would be $7.45% for the same trade. #OptionSellers
