@Daaberlicious I have plenty of sympathy, for Lemona. Someone so small and (seemingly) kind shouldn't need to throw out drunks. TIL what "cur" literally means. Creative word use. I love it when sci-fi and fantasy writers "cuss w/o cussing". Hope Cresta doesn't value this wino's words.

@K4nkOOp @oweloficial Will probably do YouTube/Streams reveal of content later on, we just heavily focused on production of updates and chapters so little to no time is spent on marketing for now as I kinda don’t want people to play exploration mode just yet until we make it better

It’s been a year since Hytale was cancelled, saved and then beta access released in January. I’m incredibly happy for the team and the community. What they’ve achieved after all that is something special given everything and I only wish for their success. As for me, I’ve been pretty quiet. After 10 years at Hypixel, I needed a break. I’ve spent the last while doing some consultancy and generally figuring out what I want the next chapter of my life and career to look like. That next chapter is starting soon. I'll be doing a couple of smaller projects with @riotgames. That you'll hopefully hear about (and won't take as long!) One thing I should probably say: I won’t really be posting about Hypixel or Hytale anymore. I know that’s why many of you followed me in the first place but... If you’d like to stick around though, that'd be dope. See you on the Rift.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Improvement is important, but just as I've run into people who just get sad and never improve, I've run into many who never think they're "ready". I wasn't "ready" either when I first drew VHV. I did it anyway.

Just a reminder to my fellow indie creators out there: Success is not measured by "views" or "followers". Success is measured by determination and steadfast discipline. You could get a million followers in a week and then burn out from the sudden attention. So long as you learned something from that project, you're "succeeding". Success is built up. Follower by follower. Page by page. Chapter by chapter. When the story is done, you've succeeded in "making" something. And like almost all other creators, that project is just another stepping stone to the next - using what you learned from the previous project to give yourself a better starting point - even if you couldn't finish it. So remember: Make something you want to make. Keep to it and keep talking about it. The only way you truly fail is to never try.
