Brownhills has one of the highest rates of violent crime & sexual offences in the West Mids. The high street is mainly boarded up. Lots of unemployment. The place is a mess. If you want to show pride in your area, sort that out first. This is just virtue signalling.

I made a phenomenal spreadsheet in the summer term to track KS4 data. I've come back to it today and I have no idea how I did it, couldn't do it again.

@HistoryWaters Would you mind sharing your template? I use tracking but want to make it more efficient for me using formulas. Happy to send it back to you once I'm done. We teach AQA and OCR at GCSE but Edexcel at a level if that's of any use.

@HistoryWaters :) sounds useful! Sounds like you did some rules?

@MsLECHistory Input the score for each assessment across the two years and it calculates %, grade and whether on/above/below target. Then calculates averages of each per student. Gives grade average to compare to target average for each class. Not too high tech, but for my skills it is 😂

Day 2 of the summer holidays: phone calls to parents about changing dates for a trip to Naples continue. One of them mentioned the earthquake - one problem at a time, please.

You may have felt moments of embarrassment before, but have you ever hiccuped LOUDLY while leaving a voicemail for a parent because it's really up there with the big guns for me
