I hate my timeline right now. Mormons are Christian. Christianity means discipleship of Jesus Christ. If your definition excludes people who worship Christ, covenant with Christ, preach Christ, and try to follow Christ, then your definition is broken. At that point, you’re not defending Christianity. You’re guarding a social club label. The question isn’t whether LDS are Christian. The question is why some people are so desperate to make Christ smaller than their own gatekeeping. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

What a childish response. Totally didn’t expect that. I’ll sum it up for you. Mormons believe God was a man who ascended to becoming a god and that there are millions and millions of gods. The Bible says this - ““You are My witnesses,” declares Yahweh, “And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no god formed, And there will be none after Me.” (Isaiah 43:10 LSB) Yahweh is the only God. There are not other gods along side Him. They can throw around the name of Jesus all they want. But it is not the Jesus of the New Testament who is Yahweh in the flesh. People seem to think that since they claim to worship “Jesus” that it is the same One as revealed in the New Testament. Wrong. Just like how Muslims “claim they believe in Jesus” but the writer of the Quran knew little to nothing about the New Testament. The Jesus in the Quran , though it uses the name JESUS, isn’t the actual second person of the Trinity as revealed in the New Testament. Saying and using the name of Jesus doesn’t mean anything if that Jesus isn’t the Divine One, Yahweh, the Creator in the New Testament. Can you understand that? They’re worshipping a false Jesus. Some Jesus that doesn’t exist. Their god is an ascended man who became God millions of other gods exist as well who ascended from a man to god. It is nothing even close to biblical Christianity

Ontologically, we believe God, Jesus Christ, and humanity all derive from the same source. That does not mean God and Jesus Christ cannot be distinct. We fully assert and say Heavenly Father is the Most High God and Jesus Christ is His Onky Begotten Son. We do not replace God, we are just of the same eternal source.
