Join us on May 5 for the City’s Flood Insurance & Education Expo! Learn about flood insurance and how to prepare your family and house for heavy rains and flooding Tuesday, May 5, from 5:45-7:30 p.m. at the Centennial Center at Veterans Park, 1028 E. Sixth St. KJRH 2 News Meteorologist Mike Grogan will serve as emcee and share some of his specialized knowledge about rain and flooding. Other experts participating in this event will include National Weather Service Hydrologist Nicole McGavock, Keller Williams realtor Adam Callaway, and other city insurance and stormwater experts. The Expo will conclude with a question-and-answer session with the assembled experts. Light refreshments also will be served.
