At this point there is zero excuse or rationale for any candidate who is not unabashedly pro-trans rights. If it means a lost election, then we lose elections.

It’s not just that this phenomenon can be documented, is that Fox’s agenda setting power is so significant that “objective” outlets scramble to launder the same narrative in less overtly partisan terms for less ideological audiences

1. It's astonishing how wrong so many of the predictions of a 'red wave/tsunami' were. I for one am fed up with pundits and commentators getting things so, so wrong & then just... moving on. So here's a thread/reminder of some of the worst midterm predictions. Read/share/enjoy:

They got to me. I am upset that this election is apparently turning on a calculated rightwing propaganda campaign of lying about crime, and mainstream outlets’ reporters and editors feel good about chiming in with “it is kinda a vibe tho to say that about nyc.” Fully dislike it.

Got to give it up: the worst people on earth knew what they were doing in rebranding every stupid and roundly discredited political ugliness, the worst ideas with the biggest body counts in human history, as "the brave and edgy thing that the snobs don't want you to say."
