"Out of 40 trillion cells, I have 1000 left. Please, use me as a case study. When you are not feeling too well, see a doctor."
- Nigerian youth says
He shared via his facebook page:
A WAKE-UP CALL TO TAKE YOUR HEALTH SERIOUSLY.....
Friends, I never imagined I’d be standing here, sharing something so personal. Today, I learned my white blood cell count is just 1,000. For those who don’t know, that means my body has almost no defense left. My immune system is failing. Even a small infection… something most people would shrug off… could be deadly for me.
I won’t lie I was scared. I felt weak, betrayed by my own body. Every heartbeat, every breath felt like a battle.
And yet, in that fear, I realized something important, HEALTH IS NOT SOMETHING TO TAKE FOR GRANTED.
We live our lives thinking we have tomorrow, thinking our bodies will always protect us. But the truth is, it only takes one moment, one unseen issue, to change everything.
My experience has taught me that prevention is not OPTIONAL it is ESSENTIAL. Listening to your body, getting regular checkups, eating well, resting, and staying safe isn’t just advice it’s SURVIVAL.
I’m sharing this because I want you to act before it’s too late. Don’t wait for a crisis to wake you up.
Love your body. Respect it. Protect it. Don’t let pride or ignorance risk your life. Take care of yourself.
Go to the doctor, eat clean, wash your hands, avoid dangerous situations, and cherish the time you have.
I’m fighting to see tomorrow, to fight for myself, to fight for life. Let my fear be your warning.
Let my story push you to take health seriously, every single day. Don’t wait for a wake-up call you might not get one.
Please, take care of yourself. Your life depends on it.
