@AlecLower It’s one thing to do what he did (unfortunately that’s just sport and it’s not super uncommon), but to do it and then go and try to gaslight people about it after the fact makes him a bad person. Make you decision own it and take it on the chin like a man

@BeachInSC @fj_williford St Louis had the 2nd best defensive eFG% in America this year. You're talking about opponent adjusted metrics. Of course an A-10 school and Indiana State will have a hard time being in the top 20.

@fj_williford Maybe so.. but as is has been pointed several times that since 2002 the NCAA champs are in the top 20 in offensive and deceive efficiency. Schertz in a mid tier division hasn't been close.

I think most folks have this backwards Schertz is a candidate who would be a top candidate for *Arizona* and *Michigan* this year. Widely regarding amongst coaching and basketball circles as a future star. You will not get another chance with him. He is the clear top choice

Here is the way I see it. Schertz isn’t that special. If it doesn’t work out with Gainey there will be someone available like Schertz in 3-4 yrs. If Schertz lasts 3-4 yrs do we have another chance at Gainey? Doubtful.
