Celia Wallet
Celia Wallet@CeliaWallet·
We spent the entirety of Q1 and Q2 focused on building the utility infrastructure behind the Celia Token..which is of course, the Celia Wallet. This included enabling seamless crypto buy/sell, swap, send, and receive features, alongside the launch of 5 blockchains, with another 5 blockchains set to launch next month, bringing the total to 10 blockchains integrated into the ecosystem. This is all in line with our vision of building the “Everything Crypto App.” As we move into Q3 and Q4, our focus will shift more aggressively toward accelerating the growth and value of the Celia Token - a key pillar of our ecosystem — while also driving wider adoption of the Celia Wallet.

🚨This is quite disturbing. In 2023, the total presidential election votes in Imo State were: Atiku ≈ 30,000 Tinubu ≈ 66,000 Obi ≈ 350,000 Yet yesterday, the APC is allocating over 582,000 votes to Tinubu in a single primary — more than the entire votes cast in the state during the actual election. I’ve been saying it for some time: these numbers look manufactured. Dismissing it as “hatred” doesn’t change the facts staring us in the face. If the opposition doesn’t challenge this aggressively right now, the same inflated figures will be used to r!g the 2027 elections. We’ve seen this pattern before. This should concern every Nigerian who wants credible elections. We cannot continue normalizing this.

I became the bad person in my family when I started saying ‘No’ to financial requests from my relatives— BBN’s Phyna Reality star Phyna has emotionally opened up about how constantly giving money to family members after winning Big Brother Naija allegedly left her drained and unappreciated. Speaking during a live session, the reality star admitted that she initially believed she was doing the right thing by helping everyone around her. “I thought I was helping my family sort out things. I thought I was normal. No money they call, na so I dey share am like mumu,” she said. According to Phyna, none of the adults around her ever encouraged her to invest or save her money. “All of them, all the adults, nobody say, ‘Ah, Phyna come now. How much be that wey dey your hand? Come do small thing.’ Nobody was interested in me investing.” She went on to recount how different relatives constantly came to her with financial demands. “This one say her husband d+e, make I give her 1 million for her husband. This one say he want do borehole. I know how many boreholes I did for them?” Phyna revealed that the problems allegedly started the moment she began refusing some requests. “The moment I started saying no like this, na there I have problem. That’s been the beginning of my problem.” She also referenced a past family issue involving roofing materials, saying her first major disagreement came after she declined to buy an expensive roofing option for her father. “No, I cannot buy this particular roofing, it’s too expensive, Daddy. Let’s buy another roofing.” The BBNaija winner said she eventually realized her money was running low and started cutting down on how much she gave out. “Somebody will ask for 1 million, I’ll say, ‘Okay, wait, let me give you 500,000.’” Phyna further reflected on how she was treated before fame, claiming many people around her never believed she would succeed. “They go dey say me, I no go reach river before I fetch water. Say I go carry belle. Nothing good.”

Earlier today, I arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, to take part in the Spier Dialogue 2026, an important event centred on the future of Africa and the urgent challenges facing our continent and the globe. The Spier Dialogue occurs at a crucial time as Africa grapples with significant issues in governance, democracy, economic inclusion, urbanisation, migration, and leadership. However, it also highlights the vast opportunities presented by the energy and creativity of our young population. As leaders and stakeholders gather from various regions, I look forward to partaking in insightful discussions, especially as I have the privilege of addressing attendees tomorrow on policies geared toward growth. Africa’s future should not be characterised by poverty amid abundance or by division instead of development. It is time for us to transition from consumption to production, from divisive politics to politics built on competence and compassion, and from mere promises to tangible progress that serves everyday citizens. Upon my arrival, I had the opportunity to meet with the Nigerian community in Cape Town for a heartfelt discussion about the recent challenges affecting African expatriates in South Africa, resulting in over two hours of fruitful dialogue. I remain dedicated to advocating for a New Nigeria and a New Africa—one where governance genuinely serves the people, where the youth are equipped with education and opportunities, and where leadership is founded on integrity, service, and sacrifice. A New Nigeria POssible. -PO
