NEWS RELEASE FROM THE LABOUR PARTY Beware, Obi, Supporters Destroyed Labour Party, Abure Cautions Dickson The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Barrister Julius Abure has advised the Senator Seriake Dickson leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC to beware of their alliance with former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi and his ravenous supporters whose political motive is always to conquer and usurp leadership of any political party that accommodates them. Barrister Abure who noted that Senator Dickson must have leant from the Labour Party's recent trajectory said that the former governor of Bayelsa state's refusal to Obi's request to field all his supporters in the elective positions in the party was commendable and one way to check the vociferous supporters of the former Labour Party presidential candidate. In a statement, Barrister Abure said Obi, Abia state governor, Dr. Alex Otti and most of their supporters who won election under the free ticket policy of the Labour Party turned around to struggle for the leadership of the party, instead of joining hands with the leadership to build the party and by so doing, destroyed what was Nigeria's greatest opposition party. He said. "They say, history usually repeats itself. Senator Dickson and Co have seen their trajectory and learnt from what happened to us, that a lot of them after they have won and now in government turned round and were struggling with the leadership of the party. So, having leant from that, that is probably why the NDC leadership are collecting what they ought to collect upfront so that they can have the resources to manage the party. "I want to say that Obi and his followers are ingrates who will never remember the sacrifices you made for them. It is even dangerous for the leadership of the NDC to wholly hand over the elective positions to Obi and his followers. We did it in 2022/23, immediately they saw that Obi was interested in the leadership of the party, all those elected under the platform of the party simply followed Obi, forgetting all the sacrifices and suffering we made for them. They went for the structures of the party, from the ward to the national to be dissolved. "Therefore for strategic and political reasons, it is very good for Seriake Dickson not to have given Obi supporters all they needed in the NDC. He needed to bring his own people so that when the chips are down, he will also have people that will speak and defend him. "All those elected under the party, Obi took them to fight the leadership of the party. So why will Seriake Dickson and Co allow Obi to produce all the elected officers or meet all the interests of Obi, it must be balanced. They trooped into NDC with Obi hoping to occupy every space like they did in Labour Party. No leader of any political party seeing what Obi did to Labour Party, along with his followers will make that mistake again." Abure clarified that his intervention arose from people's curiosity on how he navigated the 2022/23 general election with the domineering activities of Peter Obi and his supporters without any crisis. He said that the party did a lot of sacrifices trusting that the invaders will reciprocate the gesture by supporting the party after they formed government. He said, we ensured that Obi's interests were adequately taken care of. We only looked at his body language and we obliged most of his supporters tickets. Most of the tickets were for free believing that we were investing in those persons in line with the philosophy of the party, expecting that when they win, they will bring along necessary supports that will help in the growth of the party. But ironically, when they came into power, they went after the leadership of the party. "They fell into the trap of INEC, when the commission deceived them to say that the tenure of the executive has expired. We had expected them to reject that position. Our leaders ought to have known that what was going on was a reprisal from the role the party leadership played in the 2022/23 general election. "The leaders, particularly, Peter Obi and Alex Otti decided to take over the leadership of the party. In any event, all those that we elected as we speak, up till now, all the years they have spent in the National Assembly did not make any contribution to the party, therefore people like Seriake Dickson and the leaders of the NDC are probably learning from what happened to the Labour Party." The bandits that stepped their unfortunate foot on Yorubaland have begun to retreat mentally. They will regret, together with their sponsors and SW traitors associated with them! THIS IS YORUBALAND, land of PEACE where we don’t look for troubles but it if you look for our troubles, you will not survive it. Terror sponsors should tell their pikins to immediately free the Yoruba people they held in captivity in our forest and then, they should run away back to Sambisa! SAY NO TO TERRORISM

Marriage is a conscious and deliberate decision of two grown adults with means of sustenance. It is not an affair that deserves millions of tax payers money to be wasted on; not even in a society that battles with poverty, illiteracy, unimaginable number of out of school children and seemingly endless insecurity, which has claimed millions of lives and displaced many of their homes. If this doesn’t get you angry enough, then I don’t know what else will.

Today, I welcomed investors, industry leaders, and innovators to Invest Lagos 3.0. Through Invest Lagos 3.0, we set out to demonstrate, in practical terms, why Lagos is the business gateway to Africa. Our city remains a leading destination for investment, innovation, and enterprise on the continent and we are ready for your bold ideas. We are working every day to make it easier for businesses to grow and thrive here. We had great and honest conversations about what it takes to grow businesses across Africa. I especially thank His Excellency, Vice President Kashim Shettima, for gracing us with his presence. My gratitude also goes to my brother governors, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, and Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, for their presence and support. Thank you to everyone who participated. The energy in the room was a strong reminder that, despite the challenges we face, the momentum of Lagos remains strong. As we continue to create an enabling environment for businesses to grow, we remain committed to building an economy that creates opportunities and delivers prosperity for all.

Do you know that... The South West WILL DEFINITELY accept Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR @officialABAT to be their president 100% based on his leadership antecedents. The North MAY LIKELY accept Alhaji Atiku Abubakar @atiku to be their president based on his personality as a former VP. The South East WILL NEVER accept Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi @PeterObi to be their president because he lacks leadership antecedents and have no personality. Those supporting Peter Obi knows this.

It clearly shows that my brother Sowore doesn’t quite understand the complexity of the issues and has simply resolved to remain a content creator in the realm of Aluta agitation while posturing as a candidate in his specially curated private political party that doubles as his agitation front under another name. Why would anyone capable of independent thought take him seriously with this kind of statement and mindset? This is the problem with being stuck in the past where perpetual agitation serves as a means of managing one’s existential crisis. No problem in Nigeria can be solved by any magic wand. Only a deceiver and a distraction would claim to have all the answers or an immediate solution. It’s a myth designed for idiots. 🤷🏽‍♂️

“It was Lagos that gave Africa its richest man, not Kano. Aliko Dangote is a Lagos man. Again, it was not Kano but Lagos that gave Africa its second richest man, Abdulsamad Ishaq Rabiu (BUA). Lagos made almost everybody who is who in Nigeria.” — VP Sen. Kashim Shettima.
