Happy Monday morning from Canada! 🇨🇦 I’m staying with an old uni mate here in the town of Oshawa about 30 miles east of Toronto on the banks of Lake Ontario. I’m heading on a huge double decker train to Niagara Falls. PS Important to start the week with a pint of coffee & an apple fritter glazed donut ☕️🍩🇨🇦

@soccerdiva Well, I can compare football(the real😀)NHL, MLB it is a bit of a social outing, eating nachos, drinking beer long into the games and maybe at the end get involved. It is a difference with Europe and CA for that matter, so yeah different culture, but of different purpose🤷🏽♂️

I don’t mind Zlatan’s opinion, but what I do mind is what a comment like this ignites. We are always comparing instead of accepting the difference in football culture. Doesn’t mean fans don’t care. You can also find better atmospheres in some MLS cities than Europe.

Made it to Canada! 🇨🇦 No problems with my work visa with the courteous border official who checked my passport and FIFA press accreditation before wishing me a nice stay. Plenty of queues here at Toronto’s busy Pearson Airport but staff professional and helpful. And anyway if you’ve ever used Luton Airport then you can pretty much cope with queues. Must say I’m really looking forward to the next week here in Canada! 🇨🇦❤️

Igår pratade jag med ett psg-fan som, när jag berättade att jag är Arsenal, utbrast att Arsenal har de sämsta fansen. Men när jag frågade hur, kunde han inte ge ett enda exempel på hur vi skiljde oss negativt från andra lags fans. Ingenting. Man undrar hur detta kommer sig.
