Banyak orang yang gak tahu kalau di detik-detik awal Tsunami Aceh 2004 masuk ke jalanan pusat kota Banda Aceh, karakteristik airnya sama sekali gak kelihatan kayak ombak raksasa di film-film. Di rekaman kamera amatir ini, lu bisa liat air laut itu awalnya cuma merayap pelan, keruh penuh sampah, mirip banjir luapan drainase biasa. ​Fase ini dalam ilmu oceanografi disebut sebagai "Leading Edge" atau bibir depan gelombang. Ada beberapa fakta krusial yang jarang diketahui orang kenapa situasi di menit-menit awal ini begitu menipu dan menjebak para korban: ​1. Ilusi Kecepatan dan "Massa Air" ​Di video ini, kelihatan orang-orang awalnya cuma jalan kaki cepat, bahkan ada yang masih naik motor atau mobil dengan santai karena gak sadar bahaya fatal di belakang mereka. Kenapa? Karena secara visual, airnya kelihatan berjalan lambat. Padahal, yang mengalir itu bukan sekadar air permukaan, melainkan massa air laut sedalam samudra yang mendorong dari belakang. Kecepatannya di daratan saat itu berkisar antara 30–40 km/jam, tapi karena volumenya masif, daya dorongnya setara dengan hantaman truk beton. ​2. Efek "Bore" di Sektor Urban ​Ketika tsunami masuk ke area padat penduduk seperti Banda Aceh, gelombang itu terjebak di gang-gang sempit dan jalanan kota. Ini memicu fenomena undular bore, di mana air yang tadinya merayap horizontal tiba-tiba menumpuk karena menabrak dinding bangunan, lalu bergolak naik ke atas (vertical swelling) dalam hitungan detik. Orang yang awalnya mengira air cuma se-mata kaki, dalam waktu kurang dari 2 menit bisa langsung terendam hingga kedalaman 3-5 meter. ​3. "The Silent Zone" Akibat Shock Psikologis ​Banyak saksi sejarah yang selamat menceritakan bahwa sesaat sebelum air merayap masuk ke kota, suasana mendadak senyap, disusul suara gemuruh mirip mesin pesawat jet dari kejauhan. Di video ini, herannya gak terdengar teriakan histeris massal di detik-detik awal. Itu terjadi karena masyarakat saat itu mengalami normalcy bias—sebuah penolakan psikologis di mana otak manusia mencoba meyakinkan diri bahwa "semuanya baik-baik saja dan ini cuma banjir biasa", karena mereka belum pernah mengalaminya seumur hidup. ​Rekaman dokumenter ini bukan cuma sekadar arsip bencana, tapi bukti nyata kenapa edukasi dini soal mitigasi bencana itu penting. Politics streamer Destiny counters Twitch Streamer Hasan Piker's decades of research on Israel-Palestine. Destiny points out that 9 months ago, Hasan didn't know what the Wailing Wall is and the meaning behind it. Destiny also points out that Hasan couldn't even find Turkey on a map and mixed it up with India. Outside the clip: Destiny doubles down on calling Hasan unserious, which sparked the initial conversation on x, which caused the Hasan Piker rant.

Twitch Streamer Hasan Piker rants about how he does more research than Political Streamer Destiny. He also backtracks his positive stance on a Ta-Nehisi Quotes x account because they said Hasan does less research, prompting the rant. Hasan Piker claims not to know what or who a snarker is, but the Dickers and Aiden debate that destiny had is briefly mentioned. Hasan states that he has a decade of research, and that's the reason why he is a better researcher than Destiny. Hasan calls Destiny's audience biased when, in reality, his audience is just as biased. Hasan states that he is entertaining with his political coverage, and other political streamers make it about drama. When in reality, Hasan is more than happy to rant about other streamers and " drama sloptubers" on stream as well. He also states that people are getting duped by his political takes because he is being clipped, and that people are basing their reasoning on the clip rather than watching the full stream. Hasan then makes comparisons to Ben Shapiro on one of Destiny's takes and states that Destiny is constantly undermining him.
