Found a turtle in the road this morning… instant moral crisis. 🐢 Help? Don’t help? Am I interrupting a very slow, very important plan? So what’s the official protocol here—any certified turtle relocation experts out there?

@BACFreenHappy My mother makes this too, only a slight variation – she finely grates the cheese and stirs it in with the mayo, then scoop it inside the pear halves and puts the maraschino cherry half on top.

@StuckeyStop If you stop to help, PULL OVER! A woman in Quebec stopped right on the highway. A motorcycle came around the curve behind her, crashing into her car & killing the driver & his son. She was convicted of criminal negligence causing death on two counts.

@StuckeyStop Always make sure to relocate the turtle in the direction it was going, otherwise it'll come back again to where it was going... Turtle rescue rules.

@StuckeyStop I have come across many turtles in the road. I always stop. Help them. Pick them up and move them to a safe place off the road. I have even rehabbed an injured turtle with a broken shell. Found on the road. Named her bustrella. Put her back in the wooded area. When she healed.🐢
