Nothing has changed in our doctrine but better understanding of disagreements by the participants of the dialogue did change, why is that embarrassing? Why are you upset about it?

Indeed, they confess that the Nature of God the Word became flesh to a man hypostatically/substantially.” Instead, Mar Eshai insisted: “God the Word took for himself a perfect man from the Virgin Mary, and made him his Temple, and dwelt in him." That is not “independent sophisticated Christology” as Aramaic Wire and his likes wants you to think. That is textbook Nestorianism!

We had full on communion with the Greek teachers Theodore and Diodore and their early Nestorian disciples in the 5th century COE at one point, what doesn't stop us from doing this with Rome now also didn't stop us from doing that then.
