There's no struggle to save Nigeria. There is ambition to become President. That's all this is about. Atiku didn't save PDP and Obi didn't save Anambra as Governor. He didn't even save Labour Party when there was crisis. It is a battle of ambition and nothing else.
Hon Henry Shield@HonShield

Dear @atiku and @PeterObi, how can your egos be bigger than the struggle to save Nigeria?

Sign of trouble for APGA, you run. Wahala never start for PDP, you run. Labour faces the perturbations of becoming a mainstream party, you run. ADC advancing toward its primaries, you run. But somehow, you have the capacity to save Nigeria from its century old challenges. Whoever believes you should be certified dumb, dumbo, obidient. Or dumbest.

My daughter of 6 years came back from school today and was so calm, this is unusual 🤷‍♀️. So after a while I asked her if she was alright She just nodded yes Then this evening she told me won’t be eating dinner that she is not hungry. This was when I knew that something was actually wrong 🤦‍♀️. Then I started asking her questions Praising her so she could open up to me Eventually she did Hmmmmm I was really broken by what I heard She said her classmate a boy stepped on her and he refused to say sorry to her, when she reported to the class teacher, the boy denied it. She said the teacher cautioned her not to lie again 😫. She said “ mummy I wasn’t lying, he stepped on me and he did it knowingly.” I assured her that I would call the class teacher and have her speak with her again. I called the class teacher and my daughter spoke with her and told her she wasn’t lying. The teacher told her not to worry that tomorrow she will sort everything out and she apologized to my daughter for not believing her. I was happy I noticed something wasn’t right I was happy I made a move I was happy I was a present mom/parent I was happy I have a connection with my child These kids go through a lot outside the home 🏠 A little doubt towards them brings down their self esteem. Behind every calm child, there is something bothering him/her 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Cc Chiamaka MaryJane

A man sat next to me at a roadside restaurant, staring at his phone, smiling nonstop. Curious, I asked, “Good news?” He said, “Yeah my daughter just sent me her first salary.” I smiled and said, “That’s beautiful.” He nodded, then went quiet for a moment before adding, “She told me to buy something nice for myself but I think I’ll just save it. I still remember when I couldn’t even afford her school fees.” A few minutes later, his food arrived. Before touching it, he took a picture and sent it to her. Then he whispered, almost to himself, “At least now she knows I’m eating well.” That’s when it hit me. Some parents don’t need repayment. They just need reassurance that all their sacrifices meant something.

This cost them about $1 trillion. The truth is, you cannot build systems like this exclusively on the logic of profit. You cannot expect to break even in 20 or 30 years. Projects of this scale are built because the government decides they must exist to serve the people. And this is a problem with systems that are strictly, or overwhelmingly, capitalist. If you leave every problem in your society to the spontaneity of the market, some challenges are so large and so unprofitable that you will never have sufficient incentive to solve them.

Initially Obidients didn't want Peter Obi to work with Kwankwaso after remarks made towards Obi and LP during the last elections, the backlash was intense. Now people are pushing for the Obi and Kwankwaso movement. The desperation is truly sickening. You see Nigerians, we stand for nothing as a people.

Nigeria will need 35-55 years to change. But if we want it to be done in less than 10, it has to be with BRUTAL FORCE. Like someone has to run mad in Nigeria and say no to all these greed and corruption and incompetence. Alll these peaceful nonsense is why them no Dey take us serious and I am Not talking of destroying property. Force can be quiet and yet hit hard.
