A useful tool I use to spot when the market is due for a breather, or due for a bounce. Top panel is $VXV divided by $VIX. In plain English: 3-month volatility divided by 1-month volatility. It tells you how the options market is pricing the short term relative to the medium term. Here's how I use it: When the ratio gets above 1.20, that means back month vol is more than 20% above front month. The short term has gone quiet and the market is usually feeling pretty comfortable. That's when I start preparing for a consolidation or pullback. When it drops below 1.00, front month vol has spiked above back month. Short-term fear is getting priced in. That's when I start preparing for a bounce or sideways chop. We're sitting at 1.18 right now with the SPX at all-time highs. Not in the zone yet, but close enough that it's on my radar.

Historically, when ISM Manufacturing is above 50 and rising, forward 6–12 month S&P returns tend to skew positive as markets price improving demand, better margins, and a lower recession probability. We will also have a new Federal Reserve Chair soon. Kevin Warsh has recently sounded more dovish, pointing to AI as a structural force that could push inflation lower. It is also clear that President Trump has expressed a preference for lower interest rates and additional monetary easing. He selected Kevin Warsh with that broader policy direction in mind. Das gesamte Finanzsystem fühlt sich einfach falsch an. Du arbeitest hart, verdienst Geld und legst es beiseite, wirst aber durch die Inflation bestraft. Legst du das Geld an und verlierst es, hast du Pech. Legst du das Geld an und gewinnst, wird dir ein Teil weggenommen. Geht es nur mir so oder fühlt es sich an, als müsste man in diesem System kontinuierlich gegen den Wind radeln, um überhaupt voranzukommen? Und im Hinterkopf bleibt die permanente Sorge, dass selbst nach überwundenen Hürden, Jahren des Verzichts und konsequentem Vermögensaufbau plötzlich der Enteignungshammer zuschlägt und ein großer Teil des hart erarbeiteten Vermögens wieder genommen wird.

Looking good for the bulls. After months of lower highs and a brutal shakeout, BTC has reclaimed the major downtrend line and is now pressing into the upper side of this rising channel. That does not mean risk disappears. It means the burden of proof is shifting. Bears had their window. Now they need to reject this move quickly, or the market starts treating this as accumulation instead of distribution. Daily structure is improving.
