"The ecological risk of placing such a synthetic hydrocarbon manufacturing plant on top of a sandy aquifer in a fire prone region between two Ramsar wetlands – where a single chemical discharge over the life of the refinery would destroy both – is quite simply off the charts and would likely never be permitted in Europe." But of course come to South Africa and destroy our environment, with the help of the DA and the ANC....🤬😡

DID YOU KNOW ? South Africa had a notoriously lethal, high-voltage electrified border fence during the apartheid era. Installed in the 1980s along its borders with Mozambique and Zimbabwe, The barrier carried a lethal charge of up to 3,500 to 3,800 volts designed to prevent unauthorized crossings, primarily by refugees and insurgents The fence was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people. Official military figures claimed 89 people died between 1986 and 1989, but church and human rights organizations argued the true toll was much higher.

🇬🇧 Three people were stabbed at a school in Manchester Emergency services were called to Co-op Academy on Plant Hill Road in Blackley on Tuesday morning following a stabbing incident. Greater Manchester Police said there is no wider threat to pupils or staff at the school. Officers remain on scene, with multiple police and ambulance vehicles present, along with a police helicopter overhead. Parents have gathered outside the school gates to collect their children.
