Today is Good Friday
Today is the day Jesus died for our sins, to save us
Matthew 27:45-46
“Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

The institutions aren't coming. They're here.

This is MASSIVE for ETH.
$14 trillion BlackRock just launched the first Ethereum Staking ETF with ticker $ETHB.
This is bigger than most people realize.
$IBIT: Bitcoin spot ETF. Zero yield. Just price exposure.
$ETHA: Ethereum spot ETF. Zero yield. Just price exposure.
$ETHB: Ethereum staking ETF. 3% annual yield. Institutional money now earns directly from the blockchain.
This is the first time in history a $10 trillion asset manager is plugging institutional capital directly into a proof-of-stake network and earning rewards from it.
Why this is bullish for Ethereum:
Every dollar flowing into $ETHB removes ETH from circulation and locks it into staking. Less supply. Same or growing demand. Price goes up by basic math.
A 3% annual yield makes ETH compete directly with treasury bonds for institutional allocation. Pension funds and endowments that could never justify holding a zero-yield asset can now justify $ETHB.
BlackRock priced the fee at 0.12% for the first year to capture market share before anyone else launches a rival product. They are building a moat while competitors are still filing paperwork.
Fidelity and Invesco will follow. That is guaranteed. But BlackRock moved first. Again.

Here is your daily reminder of what I still believe will happen...Gooooo ETH gooooooooo boyyy
RickUntZ@chrono_chartist
I am personally very excited here. These levels are high level of demand imo, I do not think $ETH will be at these levels again in a very long time- if ever, I also believe this V shape will be faster than the one before and 2026 will be the year that resets Crypto X

Spot Ethereum ETPs brought crypto to millions but excluded staking.
With @BlackRock's $ETHB ETP, anyone can earn ETH staking rewards via everyday brokerage accounts.
Proud to be the primary custodian of $ETHB & over 80% of U.S. crypto ETPs, for more access and more opportunity.

🚨 ETHEREUM SOLVING A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR AI AGENTS
Right now AI agents are anonymous.
🔹 You can’t verify who built them
🔹 You can’t see their track record
🔹 You can’t trust their output
That’s a problem if AI agents are going to operate in the real economy.
ERC-8004 changes that.
On-chain identity, reputation, and verifiable work history for AI agents.
If the AI agent economy is going to exist, it needs trust infrastructure.
Ethereum is building it.

Now that ZKEVMs are at alpha stage (production-quality performance, remaining work is safety) and PeerDAS is live on mainnet, it's time to talk more about what this combination means for Ethereum.
These are not minor improvements; they are shifting Ethereum into being a fundamentally new and more powerful kind of decentralized network.
To see why, let's look at the two major types of p2p network so far:
BitTorrent (2000): huge total bandwidth, highly decentralized, no consensus
Bitcoin (2009): highly decentralized, consensus, but low bandwidth - because it’s not “distributed” in the sense of work being split up, it’s *replicated*
Now, Ethereum with PeerDAS (2025) and ZK-EVMs (expect small portions of the network using it in 2026), we get: decentralized, consensus and high bandwidth
The trilemma has been solved - not on paper, but with live running code, of which one half (data availability sampling) is *on mainnet today*, and the other half (ZK-EVMs) is *production-quality on performance today* - safety is what remains.
This was a 10-year journey (see the first commit of my original post on DAS here: github.com/ethereum/resea… , and ZK-EVM attempts started in ~2020), but it's finally here.
Over the next ~4 years, expect to see the full extent of this vision roll out:
* In 2026, large non-ZKEVM-dependent gas limit increases due to BALs and ePBS, and we'll see the first opportunities to run a ZKEVM node
* In 2026-28, gas repricings, changes to state structure, exec payload going into blobs, and other adjustments to make higher gas limits safe
* In 2027-30, large further gas limit increases, as ZKEVM becomes the primary way to validate blocks on the network
A third piece of this is distributed block building.
A long-term ideal holy grail is to get to a future where the full block is *never* constituted in one single place. This will not be necessary for a long time, but IMO it is worth striving for us at least have the capability to do that.
Even before that point, we want the meaningful authority in block building to be as distributed as possible. This can be done either in-protocol (eg. maybe we figure out how to expand FOCIL to make it a primary channel for txs), or out-of-protocol with distributed builder marketplaces. This reduces risk of centralized interference with real-time transaction inclusion, AND it creates a better environment for geographical fairness.
Onward.

TOM LEE: THERE IS NO SCENARIO WHERE WE SELL ETHEREUM
Bitmine has accumulated ~4% of ETH’s total supply in ~5 months and they don’t plan to sell any of it.
Instead, they’re staking it. That stack alone is expected to generate $1M+ per day in net income once fully staked.
This is how institutions think: $ETH isn’t a trade, It’s a yield-producing asset.
Michael Saylor: never sell your Bitcoin. 💎 👐
Tom Lee: never sell your Ethereum. 💎 🤝

$ETH bearishness lasted for years but $ETH actually looks good:
- EF reformed & ships fast: Two major forks in 2025
- Fusaka increases blob fees for L2s
- BitMine continues to stack $ETH
- Noticeable whale accumulation onchain
- Blackrock files for staked ETF
- Strong ETF outflows seem subdued
- Solutions like zkSync Atlas bring technical solutions to solving L1/L2 liquidity fragmentation
- Quantum resistance on the roadmap (vs uncertain BTC)
- SEC & Blackrock pushing tokenization (even within 2 years)
- ETH/BTC chart unaffected by 10/10 and following dumps
Anything else I missed?

Ethereum is the largest actively developed ecosystem in the crypto ecosystem by far.
When Fusaka goes live on the network tomorrow, it will be the second major network upgrade this year (following Pectra in May).
Then on December 9th, the network will scale blobs automatically from a target of 6 to 10 by way of a Blob Parameter Only (BPO) fork.
And this is just the layer 1 upgrades - layer 2's have been developing their own ecosystems at a breakneck speed this year.
Then throw in all of the incredible work being done on the ZK front and it's clear to see that Ethereum is firing on all cylinders.
The haters love to spread the narrative that the Ethereum ecosystem moves slow but that couldn't be further from the truth.
Ethereum doesn't move slow; it moves quickly with purpose.
