Today is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander Equal Pay Day. AANHPI women earn about 83¢ for every $1 paid to white, non-Hispanic men. I’ll keep fighting to break down economic barriers and expand opportunity for AANHPI communities in Central Florida and across the country.

The last 24 hours were chaotic and dangerous because of President Trump. A last-minute ceasefire doesn’t erase his reckless decisions and warmongering. Trump needs to be removed from office immediately.

Let’s be crystal clear, here’s the language @RepNancyMace read for the bi-partisan subpoena: “Mr. Chairman, I move that the Committee issue a subpoena to the Honorable Pamela Jo Bondi to appear before the Committee...” Bondi needs to come testify, whether she is the AG or not.

Our seniors deserve to retire and live with dignity. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of speaking with Central Florida seniors alongside Orlando Housing Authority. We talked about the investments we’re making in OHA neighborhoods and our commitment to protecting and expanding affordable housing so seniors and working families have the security and dignity they deserve.

A last-minute ceasefire doesn’t erase President Trump’s reckless decisions that got us here. We should’ve never been in this illegal war. Trump is a dangerous warmonger who pushed us into this crisis and threatened to commit war crimes. Congress must immediately return to DC to pass the War Powers Resolution and remove the President from office.

Donald Trump is an unhinged warmonger and war criminal using violence for personal gain and profit, while innocent people pay the price.   We must stop this war immediately. Every member of Congress must stand up to these threats and put an end to this before more lives are lost. Congress must reconvene to pass the War Powers Resolution. The 25th Amendment must also be invoked. Congress has to do our damn job. War powers and impeachment.

Manufactured home communities are being targeted by greedy landlords and Wall Street investors, leading to rising rents, deteriorating conditions, and displacement — with some residents even forced to choose between rent and medication. That’s why I introduced the PRO Manufactured Home Communities Act to fight back and give residents a fair shot.
