In Geography, we used google earth / maps to see what town our school is located in. We then looked at the surrounding areas and tried to find key places we always visit📚🛒

In computing, we looked at opened and closed questions and which question is best to use when collecting data📊 We then completed a pictogram graph to showing 2D’s favourite fruit🍌🍎🍊🍓 @StElizComp

We learnt about keeping safe online this week for safer internet day. We watched videos about different types of technology then completed our first page of our animated story books! 💻🖥️🧑‍💻🧑‍💻@StElizComp

Today, we learned about what a voice assistant is, how they can be useful and to understand that they are not a real person. We also discussed what to do to keep safe when playing games online and what to do if we feel worried when using our devices at home. @safeinternetday ♥️🥰

Today is Safer Internet Day and we discussed how to use AI Technologies safely. We then created posters to guide children on how to use the internet responsibly. @stelizcpr

Safer Internet Day 2026 in Reception - We learned about what a voice assistant is and that a voice assistant is not a real person! We learned about what to do if we feel unsafe or upset when using technology. @UK_SIC @safeinternetday @StElizComp @stelizcps

We looked at a video on BBC bite size and a story called smartie the penguin all about internet safety as part of internet safety day. We talked about how important it is to stay safe online 💻 @StElizComp

For Safer Internet Day 2026, we tuned into a live lesson all about AI and watched some videos relating to it💻 We learnt that AI does not have feelings like a human so we need to be careful when using it as it is not always right🤔💻

We started our new computing topic today Spreadsheets. We found it quite tricky but are looking forward to all of the new skills were going to learn in the upcoming lessons.

In Computing, Year 4 have been using Logo to create different shapes and patterns. The children showed great resilience in this lesson. Well done, Year 4! 🖥️
