Drew Allar’s workout is finished. The arm strength was easy to see. Flashed some touch outside the numbers. Had some others that sailed or weren’t placed precisely. Overall, a solid session. Not gonna change any minds, but reaffirms what was on tape.

@FarabaughFB I think re-structuring Pat would be crummy. He wasn’t used correctly last season so his production was a causality to that. Asking him to restructure after he’s been a team player through it all wouldn’t feel right

There's not many obvious restructure candidates the Steelers would want to touch this offseason, and I think it's something they don't really love doing... But if they did imagine Highsmith (as DB said) and Freiermuth (could free $5.2 million) would be the two names.

The Steelers have several rookie contract extension candidates that they’ll look to take care of before the regular season. In order to do that, they’ll need to restructure at least one deal, I think. They should start with Highsmith ($6.64M in savings). Where things get dicey are if they touch other contracts (specifically Watt).

So hard to know just how much to read into it Maybe he’s on a long vacation, has something personal going on. OTOH, they could be working through medicals or something like that. Lots of scenarios.

Penn State G Vega Ioane is going through OL drills. In person a few things I note — the dense build isn’t hard to spot. He has hammers for hands and the jolt he stuns these bags is something I noted, and you see it on tape. That’s what allows him to get movement in run game.
