Pipko: The press has been very negative towards Trump. MRC said 92% of Trump’s first 100 days was negative. Phillip: Is it possible that that's because of Donald Trump's actual actions and conduct in office?

Wow. The House just voted down Speaker Johnson's plan for a 5-year FISA extension. Now it looks like it is voting down the *rule* for the 18-month extension idea as well. Johnson tried a McCarthy technique. Force the vote, up the pressure, see what happens. Problem is: that method often failed for McCarthy.

In his second administration, President Trump’s family, including his son-in-law Jared Kushner and sons Eric and Don Jr., are expanding their business ventures, earning hundreds of millions of dollars and prompting fresh concerns about influence peddling and conflicts of interest. @ElizLanders reports.

Democrats are underreacting to Donald Trump’s obvious mental decline. They should be shouting it from the rooftops and on every cable show, just like Republicans did with Joe Biden. Trump is clearly not well.

There is nothing Trump hates more,... than being ridiculed, laughed at- and called "BORING." Nothing. ----> Like when the guys from Good Liars infiltrated a Trump speech, pretended to be MAGA- and,... "BORING! This is BORING! Tell some jokes! You're boring! BORING! - BORING!"

🚨BOOM!!! Rep. Schneider just EVISCERATED RFK Jr. to his face in the hearing: "You're not making Americans healthier. You're making Americans SICKER. "You're making our children's future less prosperous and less secure. You should be ashamed of yourself." A conspiracy theorist with a worm in his brain shouldn't be HHS secretary. Pure embarrassment.

Donald Trump is trying to rig our elections before a single vote is cast this November. We proved in California that we can win when we fight back. Virginia, now it's your turn.
Headquarters@HQNewsNow

Gov. @GavinNewsom: The Trump presidency ends as we know it this November if we do our job. Keep dialing it up till the work is done. The open sewer of corruption is next level. He's unmoored now in terms of what he can do to try to rig this election in every way, shape or form

The syrian pivot: how putin’s investment became Ukraine’s strategic hub. I would pay anything to be a fly on the wall in the Kremlin when putin sees this footage. Man, if you told me two years ago that Bashar al-Assad would be hiding in a Moscow basement while the newguy in Damascus, Ahmed al-Sharaa, was out here cutting deals with President Zelenskyy, I would’ve said you’re dreaming. putin spent a decade—and a terrifying amount of Russian blood and treasure—bombing Syria into submission just to keep a "loyal" puppet in power and secure those Mediterranean military bases. And now? The new government is basically using those very same ports—the ones putin thought were his permanent "Southern Flank"—to help Ukraine move grain. It’s peak irony. The "Grand Strategist" in Moscow basically cleared the path for a government that’s now cozying up to his biggest adversary. It’s a masterclass in how quickly putin’s "influence" evaporates. Putin thought he bought Syria forever. Instead he just subsidised the infrastructure for the next administration to move on without him. Seeing al-Sharaa talk about "stability" while facilitating Ukrainian trade must feel like a slow-motion slap in the face to every "Z-patriot" back in Russia. Ahmed al-Sharaa: “This is a great success achieved for the stability of Syria. There is a historical partnership between Syria and Ukraine in the fields of food and energy. Ukraine has great experience in agricultural production and the pharmaceutical industry. Syria is also an agricultural country and needs these skills. Our main goal is to create a hub where food and basic materials from Ukraine can be re-exported through Syrian ports. Turkey contributes greatly to global and regional stability through initiatives like this forum. Turkey's role has now reached a global dimension. The Syria-Turkey partnership is the foundation for the future security of the region and the world. Syria has ceased to be a crisis and has turned into a historical opportunity for reconstruction and stability.”

Donald Trump LIED. Again. He LIED. He LIED. Trump LIED again. He always LIES. He LIES every time he opens his mouth. He LIED about the Pope. He LIES all the time. He. Only. Knows. How. To. LIE. And we all need to say that. We all need to use that word - he LIES.
Daniel Dale@ddale8

Trump said today: "The Pope made a statement. He says, Iran can have a nuclear weapon." Never happened, as @KaitlanCollins told Trump. In reality, the Pope has unequivocally denounced nuclear weapons and called for the whole world to relinquish them: cnn.com/2026/04/16/pol…

MAGA has a Europe problem. Not the real Europe. The one they invented. The one with sharia courts and no-go zones and zero tech companies and miserable citizens begging for permission to cross the street. That Europe doesn't exist. Here's what does: open.substack.com/pub/gandalv/p/…
