Today's Black American (Freedmen) inventor is Henry T. Sampson. Sampson co-invented the gamma-electric cell, a device that converts gamma rays into electricity. He also invented a case-bonding system for cast composite rocket propellants and a binder system for propellants and explosives. His technology is used in space exploration and rocket propulsion. #BlackHistoryMonth
