Had to play junior plumber when I got home tonight. Wife found water under the sink and thought we had a leak. Turns out the nut connect the pipes to the sink had become corroded and would not stayed screwed on. Had to go buy a new one and fight with the limited space under the sink to connect it. That was not a fun way to end the day, but at least it’s reconnected and not leaking.

I walked into a plumbing store, got what I needed, and commented out loud about it. The guy behind the counter said “see ya in an hour!” I asked what he meant. He said I haven’t seen a home job yet where they don’t come back for more parts three times total. I said I got all I needed to do the job… And came back two more times before I finished it!
